As I grabbed my laptop just now, I noticed that the camera on top of my computers has been left on. I considered unplugging it, but that wouldn't truly solve anything. I should simply be more conscious of my actions while in my room within sight of the camera and then be observant of anyone who may be reacting to this knowledge.

Of course, if I were keeping anything secret then there's always Light's method. Actually, potato chips sound good right now... maybe I'll pick some of those up.

I'll be in the dining hall for a bit, speaking with Loki. I've yet to form a solid opinion of him, though he does seem to find a good deal of trouble here. I'll have a much better picture of who he is after our meeting of course.

I will have my laptop with me. I'd rather not be disturbed during this time, but if there's something urgent I'll have my eye out for incoming messages.

An American Detective? I suppose I could have turned into worse. It seems others certainly did. I only wish I hadn't had such nightmares. Perhaps it's a good thing that Dexter doesn't appear to be around...

It feels good to be out of those shoes though. And the socks as well. I've never liked either of those. Too restrictive for my feet.

I suppose it's back to normal on this ship then. As normal as things ever are here.

[Because of my utter fail, I'm without any appropriate pictures or icons for L's costume. He's dressed in slacks, a button-up shirt, suspenders and a worn brown trenchcoat. Because being a gumshoe is such a far cry from what L usually does. Fail costume is fail!]

Something just ain't right 'round here. I know I've been here fer a long time, but everything's different somehow. Yet I can't put my finger on it just yet, but I'll find it.

Don't know why, but I've got a major hankerin for some hot chocolate 'stead of my coffee. Guess I'll head on up to the caf. and scrounge myself up a cup. Then take a walk around, figure this thing out more.

Anyone with any helpful information to offer, please feel free to come forward. I'm here to help.

It seems I've been given an inmate to watch over. I haven't spoken with Loki before but from what I observed this will be an interesting assignment. I also hope in the future that he won't have to face death again. No matter what crimes Loki may have in his past, death isn't the answer. Clearly it doesn't solve anything or else his first bout with the condition would have been enough.

Mister Loki, I look forward to working with you.

Note to self: I'm running low on chocolates. Remember to pick up more next time I leave my room.

It seems that this ship contains passengers from more than one reality. I hesitated at first to accept this possibility, but there seems to be more and more evidence accumulating to support this theory. After watching some of the more unusual individuals I've noticed that several of them seem to accept facts that would be thought insane in the world I come from, yet these people don't seem to be suffering from any major mental disorder. I suppose that it is wise to keep this knowledge from the living. Should any sort of afterlife ever be proven, never mind one as... interesting as this, the suicide rate would likely rise in many of these realities. Criminals may even murder more freely, having a certain amount of guilt relieved in knowing that death wouldn't be the end.

I'll be leaving ship at the next port. I'd like to see some of these other realities for myself.
